Many of our patients have vision or medical insurance they would like to use for there vision and eye wear needs. At Clarington Optometric Centre, we accept as many insurance plans as we are able. There are some plans, however, that do not let us direct bill. We can also run into road blocks when patients do not have electronic billing or submission set up on their account.
We also ask that you check with your plan provider ahead of time to determine the amount that you have coverage for and the date you are eligible for service. Most providers will not tell us the amount that someone has coverage for as that information is considered private to that person.
